RCEF Minutes – Regular Meeting – September 17, 2020

Call to Order 

*Meeting Called to order by President Mary Patterson, 6:30 p.m. at the Conklin Park pavilion.  

Roll Call 

*Also attending were trustees Mike Pierson, Mary Arends, Marty Heiss, Adam Sheridan, Justin Wilson, Denny Emery and  webmaster Tom Jensen; absent: Paul Borgman, Hailey Mabrito, Katie Hensley, Jason Helsen.  

Approval of the Agenda 

*The agenda was approved unanimously on motion by Marty with support from Mary Arends.  

Approval of Minutes  

*Minutes of the August 20, 2020 meeting were unanimously approved on motion by Adam with support from Denny.  Correspondence-A thank you was received from Conner Kilbourne.  

Old Business 

Website-Tom has been transferring information from the old web site to a new one. 

*Tom explained some of our options.  

Taste of Ravenna-Options considered without much enthusiasm for an event. Adam suggested that livestream football parties could  be sponsored.  

*Adam reviewed some of the legal ramifications of possible fund raising events.  

New Business 

*Justin announced that a Homecoming celebration would be held the week of the Oakridge game October 16. A parade would be  held Wednesday October 14 that would start at the north lot of the middle school and end up at Citizen’s Field. The band would play  on the field and a ceremony would be held to crown the king and queen.  

Miscellaneous 

Facebook Page-Tom will work with it.  

*Next Meeting-was set for Thursday November 12, 6:30 p.m. at Ravenna Lumber Company.  

*Meeting adjourned at 7:15 p.m.
